February 24, 2007

I figure I might as well use this blog to update the people that we don't see/talk to on a regular basis about Julianna. She had her 2 month old dr's appointment yesterday. Both Ryan and I took her. She had to get 5 vaccinations - and it was truly heartbreaking. One minute she is just lying there smiling and talking and the next they are sticking needles in her and she doesn't understand why we are hurting her. She was crying so hard that no noise even came out. It also made it hard because she is crying actual tears now. So sad to see little tears streak down her face. I could just about cry thinking about it.

Anyway, she was 10lbs10oz, which is up from 9lbs8ozs at her one month appointment, and puts her in the 50% for weight. She was 24" long which puts her in the 95% for length. The doctor, who is a really cute little old man who wears bow ties :), said that she looks great in every way. He did say that we are going to have to make her spend more time on her tummy even though she cries like we are torturing her when we put her on it. He said that there are all sorts of skills that she needs to spend time on her tummy in order to master. Well, that's about it. As always, we think that she is the cutest, smartest, sweetest, strongest, all around greatest baby in the whole world. You agree, don't you???

See what I mean about tummy time??

It is so hard to see them cry when they get their shots. We wanted to cry too.

You are right she is the "cutest, smartest, sweetest, strongest, all around greatest baby in the whole world"

Love to all Grandmamma and Granddaddy
