Julianna Morgan Fox: June 14, 2007

Well, once again, I have let too much time lapse between updates. All is well here. We had a fairly busy week. On Monday we had an appointment with a cranial specialist because Julianna's pediatrician thought that the back of Julianna's head was a little flat. We (mostly I) worried and worried and worried about this appointment for 2 weeks. Anyway, it turns out that her little head is well within the normal limits and that the flat spot is really just her soft spot (You'd think that her pediatrician would know that, right???). We (again I mean I) are so relieved! We had heard that these cranial people can be VERY aggresive about getting your kid into a helmet thingy. Anyway, they practically kicked us out of the office! Yea!
Other than that, we went swimming at Grammy's, worked in the Garden (mostly daddy, though Julianna and I did help with some harvesting), had dinner with Granddaddy and Grandmama, met Grammy and Poppy for lunch, and Ryan and I went to a movie. It was our first "date" since Julianna was born. Though we thought about her a lot (Daddy called once during the movie), we had a nice time. We knew she was in good hands with Granddaddy and Grandmama. I have to admit that I was quite happy that she was still awake when we got home and that I got to put her to bed as usual.
